In a move reflecting the strong bond between the national carrier and national sports, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has inaugurated a new era of promoting the Kingdom. The “Lions” plane touched down on its first flight to the French capital, Paris, adorned in an exceptional livery celebrating the stars of the Moroccan National Team.
An Aerial Masterpiece Touring the World
The aircraft, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with the registration CN-MAY, debuted with a dazzling new look. The traditional design has been replaced by a massive fuselage mural featuring the pillars of the Moroccan National Team, signaling unconditional support for the “Atlas Lions.” Dynamic images of the players appear on the side of the aircraft alongside the phrase “Partenaire Majeur” (Major Partner), confirming the deep partnership between Royal Air Maroc and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
A Flying Ambassador for CAN 2025
This transformation is not merely aesthetic; it carries profound marketing and national messages as Morocco approaches hosting the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025). This aircraft will serve as more than just a means of transport; it will be a “Flying Ambassador” touring international airports. It aims to promote Morocco as a global sports and tourism destination while galvanizing fans in preparation for the continental football festival the Kingdom is set to host.
Captured by the Lens of “Atlas Spotter”
This artistic masterpiece and its maiden flight were spotted and documented thanks to the lens of the creative photographer and our friend “ATLAS SPOTTER,” a distinguished creator active on Instagram. His photos stand as a living testament to the beauty of this new design. With great passion and individual effort, he continues to capture the finest aviation moments in Moroccan skies, making his work worthy of all encouragement and support.
The flight of the “Lions'” images through the skies of Europe and the world is a renewed confirmation that Morocco’s ambition—both athletically and organizationally—knows no bounds, and that preparations for “CAN 2025” are in full swing, both on the ground and in the air.
